Project management and Controls

I started project-managing refits and newbuilds in my mid-20s and successfully ran cross-functional project teams of 40+ from my early 30s, during which time I led the team that built the multi-award-winning iconic Media Centre at Lords Cricket Ground, the UK Stirling Prized RIBA Building of the Year, 1999.

Through my consulting work, I have made detailed assessments – on behalf of US, UK and Australian Governments – of the project management of some of the most complex programmes human beings undertake, with the findings debated in Government Senates in the US and Australia. This has given me broad, international experience of multiple stakeholder programmes at C-suite level+.  I am well versed in applying a wide range of project management methodologies including earned value, earned schedule, tailored KPIs, probabilistic analysis, and agile methodologies.

I have also directed the design and implementation of ERP systems from scratch, have good knowledge of modern AI tools and first-rate knowledge of the benefits and risks of digitisation/digital twins.
